From premiere to preservation.

After Glow is the digital extension of Black Light: A Howard Short Film Showcase, created to preserve selected student films following their public premiere at the Miracle Theatre.

Each collection documents the creative work of Howard University filmmakers presented in a specific edition of the showcase. Participation is voluntary and non-exclusive. Student filmmakers retain full ownership of their work and may continue to screen or distribute their films elsewhere.

Rather than serving as a distribution platform, After Glow extends the life of student films beyond the theatrical screening and creates an ongoing record of the filmmakers and work presented through Black Light.

After Glow is produced and curated by Obibini Pictures.
